Sample Backpacking Trip Menus

Cooked over camp fire or on camp stove.

            
Sunday
     
TRAILHEAD SNACK--apple, raisin, pecan, choco chip mix
      LUNCH--Pizza Pockets, cookies, fruit
      DINNER--Chicken Stew, S'mores
Monday
     
BREAKFAST--French Toast, granola, yogurt, fruit
      LUNCH--Pita, ham, cheese, hummus, PBJ, mandarin oranges
      DINNER--Brats, Buns, chips, chocolate mousse pudding, dream whip
Tuesday
      BREAKFAST--Hashbrowns,  sausage, eggs
      LUNCH--crackers, smoked salmon dip, hummus, tabouli
      DINNER--Spaghetti, garlic toast, green beans, rice krispy treats
Wednesday--Lay over day
      BREAKFAST--Sticky buns, oatmeal, fruit
      LUNCH--Bagels, cream cheese, bacon, lettuce, snack
      DINNER--Chicken veggie stir fry, rice pilaf, upside down cake
Thursday
      BREAKFAST--Huckleberry Hotcakes, butter, syrup
      LUNCH--pasta salad, gorp
      DINNER--Chili, chips, cheese, brownies
Friday
      BREAKFAST--Eggs, Veggies, cheese, bacon bits
      LUNCH--Turkey wraps, fruit
      DINNER--Beef Tips, gravy, potatoes, corn, cheese cake
Saturday
      BREAKFAST--Cereal bars, gatorade, fruit
      LUNCH--Jerky, crackers, leftovers
      DINNER--Pizza...in town!
